Painted from a small posy of bluebells, tulips, and delicate white flowers gathered from my garden, this piece is a quiet celebration of spring.
I have always loved how even the simplest flowers can transform a room. Just a few stems, placed in a small jar or vase, can soften a space and make a house feel instantly more welcoming.
When I was little and staying with my Granny, she would always place a little posy of freshly picked flowers in my bedroom. It was such a small gesture, yet it made me feel deeply cared for — a sweet reminder of the love and warmth that filled her home.
The soft colours and freshly gathered flowers in my painting carry the hopeful feeling of spring — when gardens begin to awaken again and the days grow brighter.
Flowers for you was created as a small token of that memory — a painting to bring a touch of freshness, light, and love into a home.
