There is something deeply comforting about blue and white china — the kind that seems to carry memories within it.

​

My granny always had china with pattern like this, brought out for tea after a day of gardening, for family gatherings, for those ordinary moments that quietly become meaningful over time. 

​

This little arrangement of tulips and grape hyacinths grew from that homely feeling. The simple joy of planting bulbs in autumn, the waiting through the colder months, and then — almost all at once — those first green shoots appearing, full of promise and then suddenly, flowers.

​

There is something special about gathering what you have grown and placing it in a favourite bowl — a meeting of garden and home.  These simple acts, repeated over time, are what make a place feel truly lived in.
